| I saw Serenity last night at 11:59pm, we got awesome seats cause a few people from our group of 15 got there at 4pm. Yikes.
It fucking sucked.
Well, it was most amazingly awesome. But when I say it fucking sucked, if you are a fan of the show and you've seen the movie, you know what I meant by that.
Before Serenity, I met Neil Gaiman. Got his new novel signed and listened to him speak for about an hour or so.

| I got home from school today at about 9:30 - wednesdays are my longest days. I went in immediately to check on my young ninja, and he was there, huddled in a corner half buried in newspaper. He had consumed all the garlic croutons I left in there(see the picture in the last post), but left alone entirely the pine nuts. I don't blame him for that, I think pine nuts suck. I grabbed some more croutons for him, and opened the lid...
Komakai, the little ninja, knew that his chance had come. He heard the dumb ape enter the room which housed his prison, and when the light turned on he knew the ape was coming. He readied his specially prepared ninja flash powder, and kept his nunchuks hidden. When his captor opened the lid, Komakai threw the flash powder as hard as he could. When the jailor turned to see what the noise was, Komakai jammed his nunchuks in the lid mechanism. It would not fully close, now...
...and then I dropped the croutons in the box, and shut the lid. I went upstairs to dilly dally around on the computer for awhile. When I came back down an hour or two later, the mouse was gone. Komakai Toge had escaped my specially made enclosure.

| Earlier this evening, I heard the unmistakable squeaking of a mouse caught by one of my cats. Mimi, the vicious hunter, had brought it in and was toying with it in the hallway. It really upsets me to see this, so I caught my cat and locked her in my bedroom while I set forth to catch the poor guy. Took me a while; he's a fast bugger, but I got him. He's very cute though, so I made for him a temporary home.

| I recently read about something called polyphasic sleep. The gist of it is this: you take several very small naps throughout the day as opposed to one long period of sleep(monophasic) each day. You take a 25 minute nap once every four hours, ie. 4am, 8am, 12pm, 4pm, 8pm, 12am etc. The idea being that we only get 2.5 hours of REM sleep, which is the sleep your body really needs, in any given night, and once your body gets used to this schedule, every nap you take will be almost entirely REM sleep. And because you are sleeping for only 2.5 hours each day, you get about an extra six hours of waking time each day. Famous polyphasic sleepers include: Leonardo DaVinci and Buckminster Fuller. Famous genius sleepers I should say. Now, I haven't seen solid evidence to prove that they did, but it's a popular theory, so hell, let's run with it.
Experiment begins tonight at 4am.
